Featured in South Asian Bride Magazine

The current issue of South Asian Bride Magazine is out and we are thrilled to have four features in it. It is their annual Decor Issue and we have styled shoots and fabulous real weddings. We gave a little insight onto each real wedding/styled shoot so you can see what went into creating and photographing. Each feature is so different from one another from beach a beach side wedding to an urban table scape we hope that you enjoy the features.

Tanvi and Deep’s destination wedding mandap was one of our most popular photos on Instagram this year so we weren’t surprised that it was chosen to be featured. The white mandap was custom made especially for their wedding. Nicole from Shawna Yamamoto had the mandap frame laser cut and assembled on sight. We love the 360 degree view of the city and the bright pops of yellow.

I love outdoor receptions it creates a fun environment for your guests, who doesn’t love a chance to dance under the stars? Nicole and Blake’s real wedding was located minutes from the ocean so they chose to have a beach colored reception. Tones of blues and greens were used. We loved the back of their chairs that had their initials in shells and elements from the sea.

Reema and Kunal’s destination real wedding was filled with bright hues of reds, purples and blues. They wanted a candid approach to their wedding photography so instead of taking a lot of portraits of Reema and Kunal we focused on capturing moments and their stunning decor.

We always love the opportunity to photograph a styled shoot. This allows us to take our time and really create a “fantasy” table with elements that we adore. One of my favorite elements to this table is the chair covers, it reminds me of my wedding because we had similar ones at our wedding reception and the guests went crazy over the layers and layers of sheer fabric.
